State of Mind was born from my personal journey of dealing with keloid scarring. For years I saw my scars as flaws that held me back, where I allowed them to affect my confidence. Over time, they prevented me from wearing piercing earrings altogether. 

After struggling to find non-piercing earrings that combined the right aesthetic, quality, comfort and value, I decided to create my own. Each piece thoughtfully designed to take you anywhere; from coffee dates to the office and nightlife.

This journey has taught me that every challenge holds an opportunity, and it's our state of mind that determines how we rise above and move forward. As my passion for building this brand grew, I realised that these scars - once something I despised - had led me to create something I truly love. More importantly, they've allowed me to create something that can empower others as well.
